Vitamin D - Sunshine Vitamin

This is limited to the exposure of the skin to unique rays called ultraviolet illumination B which leads to the formation of a previtamin titled vitamin D 3. The vitamin is also referred to as a prohormone because it does not bear any hormonal activity in by itself, but once in the body, it is changeed into a hormone. The ability of the skin to alter this previtamin into an active hormone decreases with age, T

herefore the more aged one gets, the less skill he/she has in the modification of the previtamin into an active hormone in the body.  But it ought to be noted carefully that over-exposure to the sun is connected with some dangers thus the time of exposure must be controlled.
