When it comes to marketing and the business being carried out, there are a lot of stages and parties involved and with the help and input of all these parties the sales and profits are achieved.
Market Partners
In the very start of any business, especially the large ones, there are mostly market partners present who put in their time, interests, money and efforts to initiate the business. Therefore, these partners have an interdependent relationship among themselves.
Pre-market
After the market partners have established or done the ground work for the business comes the pre-market. As, the term itself suggests, it comprises all the stages and people who are involved in the production, supplying and distribution of the products before they have actually entered the market or are being bought. This is the stage where the employees, suppliers and investors play a very important role.
Parallel
Parallel comes in after the product has been launched and distributed in the market, which basically includes the competitors and the public. This is where the producers try to get an edge by trying to bring something different, or satisfying a need of the consumer, or the public that the competitors are not yet catering to or maybe not in a proper way.
Post-market
The last step carried by any successful business is to observe and study the post-sale or post-market behavior of the people involved with the products such as, the sales agents, commerce and users etc. It is essential for the marketers to observe how the sales agents are performing and in what areas they need training as sales agents are a crucial part of the business, since they are the ones who are supposes to convince the consumers to buy their products.
Later on, it is important to observe consumers point-of-view about the product in order to know where the products need improvement and how the sales and profits can be improved.
